The Bible is God’s grand narrative, demonstrating the creation, care and redemption of His people throughout history. We believe it is impossible to understand the character of God without encountering, exploring and engaging in the stories of His activity. In our Bible program, Grade 9 and 10 students will be exposed to these stories, sequentially, in chapel.

Beginning each September, every Grade 9 and 10 student will hear, learn and investigate different stories of the Bible, starting in Genesis and working through to Revelation. The stories covered will be changed every other year.
Junior students will come to chapel for their designated weeks where different teachers will present the stories of the Bible. The objective of this program is to reveal the nature of God’s character through the accounts we have received, bringing all of our students to a certain level of Bible literacy. By ensuring that all of our students have a base knowledge during their junior years, we can work off that knowledge in their Senior chapels using it to build truth into their lives.
We welcome parents and supporters of the SLD to come to our chapels and experience the same thing their students experience. We welcome encouragement, and feedback. Please take the time to join us at 8:25, Monday to Friday to see just what it is we do during chapel.
Junior Chapel involves a two year walk through the Bible. This includes a look a the powerful stories of faith and challenge that are found in the Bible, and the lessons that we can learn from them. This is a vital part of the programming that makes Eden a unique school.
As you have made Eden your choice, remember that attendance is expected and that it is important you are on time for our 8:25 start time! Students are reminded that they need their student cards for attendance.
